The Gospel Group Kinsmen Releases New Single-“Born Again”

Kinsmen, formally known as Youth Edition has been a major player in the music scene for some time now. Youth Edition is making their debut under the new name and concept as “Kinsmen.”

The members of Kinsmen have been performing together for more than 20 years, ever since they were kids singing around the family record player. All first cousins and now young men, Kevin Vasser, Keith Vasser, Van Moody and Reggie Tillman have maintained a close family bond and a love for God that inspires their songwriting.

The music of “Kinsmen” is a contemporary, Inspirational Gospel, with strong emphasis on contemporary and inspirational, as their sound is not that of the traditional “Church” music. “Kinsmen” offers something to suit everyone’s taste. They have shared the stage with artist such as, R. Kelly, Destiny’s Child, Earth, Wind and Fire, Mary J. Blige, The Isley Brothers, Kirk Franklin, and many, many more.

They have performed for thousands and have won numerous awards and honors. Even before they were discovered they were opening shows for BeBe and CeCe Winans, The Thompson Community Choir, The Soul Stirrers and Commissioned.

They have recently shared the stage with Fred Hammond, God’s Property, Karen Clark-Sheard, Trin-i-tee 5:7, and many others. “Kinsmen” will not only inspire listeners of all walks of life, but will undoubtedly take Gospel and R&B into a whole new light.
