KANSAS CITY, Mo. – April 29, 2016 – PRLog — Jazz inspired Neo soul singer Mae C is releasing her highly anticipated EP Album “Warning Signs of True Love” which contains the hit single “Black Girl Lullaby” and is NOW AVAILABLE for pre-order on Amazon with a worldwide release on “MaeDay” Sunday May 1, 2016.

Love, Mae C. is a talented singer who wanted to do an album that was true to who Mae C is. The sound that was created in the album is a direct reflection on where she stands at this point in her career. Mae C. wanted to build this album as her base and set the bar for herself; from writing to the production and adding direction to the mixing. “I literally zoned into details that I had learned from other artists from the big stages to the local stages. I collected that knowledge in my mind and gathered all the resources I had available at this level and used it to the best of my ability.”

“The story of this album comes from seeing the bad things that I went through in my life as a hindrance. Having that mindset I didn’t allow myself to grow, it was like I kept stomping on my seed expecting for it to sprout. I had to learn over time that I had to let my pain and my mistakes water my soil to create growth. I finally realized that God was allowing me to grow through the things that would shape me into the person I am today, that is his “Warning Signs of True Love“.

Mae C worked with producers 1Bounce and the Goonez on this project recording at and working with owner Mab from Industry Soundz studio in Blue Springs, Mo. Love, Mae C. recently won the first round of the Hot 103 Jamz radio station #KCNEXT local music competition where she went up against 9 other talented artist in the KC Metro area.
