New York, NY (October 23, 2013) – R&B/Soul singer-songwriter Leela James announces the release of her new single “Say That” featuring Anthony Hamilton. The song, which showcases James’ distinctive rich and powerful vocals, is #1 Most Added this week at Urban AC radio, with 16 station adds including WHUR Washington DC, KJLH Los Angeles, KMJQ Houston, KOKY Little Rock, SXHS Sirius XM, and more. “Say That” will be available for purchase at all digital retailers on October 29.
“Say That” is the first single from Leela James’ forthcoming album, which will be released in early 2014 via J&T Records/BMG/RED Distribution. The song recently premiered on Leela James’ hometown Houston radio station, Majic 102.1 (KMJQ) and has been receiving favorable reviews in the early airplay prior to its radio impact date. Leela is shooting an official music video for “Say That” with Anthony Hamilton, and will perform at the Majic 102.1 “Under The Stars” concert in Houston, TX this Saturday, October 2.
