Kevin Jackson for years has used his talents to perform for others or as musical director. The time has finally come for Kevin Jackson’s voice to be heard.
“I believe that what people will hear is some great music. I am very proud of what I have put together and I think others will enjoy as well,” states Kevin Jackson. The CD, “Stories in Color,” is a mix of Jazz, Rock, R&B and Inspirational Music.
The pressure is on, as this is the first solo project for Jackson, who admits he is concentrating so much on the show for August 4th that he has not had time to really let things sink in. According to Jackson, “This show is going to be really good. I have had the pleasure of working behind the scenes, directing, and so forth. I am making sure that everything is correct so that I can execute a fabulous show.”
Tickets for A CD Release:” Stories in Color” Performance by Kevin Jackson, are $15 in advance (www.WePay.com/events/ItsKevinJackson) or $20 at the door. Musical artist, Ama Chandra will also be performing. The doors open at 6:30 with a pre-concert reception with the show starting promptly at 8pm.
