The Silence Is Broken uses the creative and performing arts and a sustained media campaign to halt the spread of HIV.

The Silence Is Broken, a non-brick and mortar company, produces
original content and uses new media to spread its message while using
the Internet as the distribution platform to deliver an entertainment
experience that uplifts, inspires, and educates in order to halt the
spread of HIV. Outreach to individuals, nonprofit organizations and
associations to work with us is part of the strategy. Through The
Silence Is Broken concert series, the more people who watch our films,
the more they are educated and the spotlight remains on the condition.
As a result, many people are poised to make different choices because
national and international popular discourse is to arrest HIV. It
becomes the “cool” thing to do and so, the care of the self becomes
critical.

In the current economic climate it is incumbent upon organizations to
partner for their mutual benefit. The creative work at The Silence Is
Broken sustains the mission, while helping other organizations in the
process. This model is a win win proposition for anyone or any
organization who is able to bring 100 or more people to purchase The
Silence Is Broken Volume I.

For the price of going to the movies, popcorn, and a soda, one can
purchase our video stream ($20 per person). We encourage groups,
individuals, families, friends and colleagues to join this awareness
campaign by purchasing the stream. For every 100 or more people a person
or group is able to get to purchase our stream, The Silence Is Broken
will write a check ($5 per purchase) to their favorite charity. So, for
every 100 purchases an organization will receive $500. For 1000
purchases it will earn $5000 and for 10,000 purchases the organization
will receive $50,000. There is no limit to the amount of money an
organization or person can earn.

In the United States, the HIV infection rate is beginning to look
like third world countries in poor and minority communities. The new HIV
infection rate for black women hovers around 61% and as guardians of
the next generations “we” are not talking about it or making HIV the
national priority it needs to be. (For more information about The
