Talia Coles To Release New Single in 2011…

A new voice is coming to R&B/Pop and she is bound to hit you like a
storm. She is a singer, songwriter and co-founder of her own record
label Couture Music. When she is not rocking her vocals, she is ripping
the runway and creating masterpieces for her design line Cisum Couture.
She is the essence of the word artist. She is Talia Coles.

Coles defines herself as a singer/songwriter with artistic integrity.
“I contribute to the culture through music, song, fashion and
performance.” Managed by Jojo Brim (who also manages Trey Songz) and KWL
Enterprise, Talia has so far been featured in over 50 mixtapes. You may
know her name from her song Nikki Wine featuring Elephant Man, a song
that happens to be heavily requested and club favorite in many areas
including Boston, Hartford, San Antonio, New York City and Miami to name
a few. Recently, Talia was added to the roster of iconic booking agency
ICM.
 
Talia Coles who was brought up in Harlem, New York has
music in her family background. Her father, a musician played with the
late James Brown and Wilson Pickett. Though music is in her DNA, she has
her own identity. She graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music and
Performing Arts with a diploma in Music History and Voice. Not letting
her passion die, Talia proceeded to study ballet and jazz studies at
Broadway Dance Theartre. Its no wonder that she has worked with, to name
a few, great artists such as Musiq Soulchild, Teddy Riley, Deborah Cox,
LL Cool J, Case and Tyler Perry.
 
I asked Talia what she has to
offer to the world and how she plans on keeping more than just a buzz
in an industry where so many are trying to make it and she said,
 
“I
offer Swag Rock. Music you can rock to that is loaded with personality
and reflects who I am as an empowered woman! I started out as a lead
singer of a rock band and grew up as a Hip-Hop kid…go figure! As far as
surviving, I’m just allowing it to happen, working diligently,
surrounding myself with great leaders and appreciating the journey.”

What can you expect form her future album, she explained it like a true
designer – “Couture,” she said explaining that each song and each
record would be tailor made and carefully hand crafted to her emotions,
various elements wrapped in a ‘swaggy’ blanket!
