ANYWHERE ,California,United States of America(Free-Press-Release.com) October 13, 2010 —

The musical team of Berry and Proulx (pronounced “Prue”) is preparing to release their latest collaboration of Christmas memory. Berry and Proulx joined forces for the 2006 Grammy award winning song “These Golden Years” for Nancy Wilson’s “Turned to Blue” CD, placing them firmly on the turn table of the jazz world. This Christmas treatment, simply titled “Christmas” is on target to become a new standard.

“Christmas” featuring vocals by Howard Hewett and Sherry Williams, and an instrumental featuring jazz guitarist Brian Nova, provide the flavors of Christmas past and present with the joining of their well developed strengths. Proulx’s romantic music compositions blended with Berry’s fireside lyrics provide this generation with a fresh foundation for their Christmas memories. This CD is music for the season and the heart.

“Chann” began his career at WBLS radio in New York and has moved forward hitting San Francisco’s Bay Area and subsequently was culled by the Walt Disney Studios. He has also written music and/or directed videos for artists such as Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, Rosie Gaines, Greg Walker, and jazz vocalist Mary Stallings.

John, a MAX JAZZ artist, is currently working on his third solo project. From his formal education at Chicago’s Roosevelt University’s, School of Performing Arts, he moved to Los Angeles, emerging as a multi-talented jazz singer/pianist/composer.John’s “Baker’s Dozen-Remembering Chet Baker” features legendary musicians Chuck Berghofer, Joe LaBarbera, and the great Dominick Farinacci. In addition to his own trio, he has performed with Anita O’Day, Natalie Cole, and Marian McPartland.

The Berry/Proulx Project has “More, MORE” written all over it!

“Christmas” is being offered for download beginning November 1, 2010 on CDBaby, iTunes, and at www.berryproulxproject.com.
