The Top 100 R&B Slow Jams – #70 | Karyn White – Superwoman
Not to offend the fellas out there, but there was at one point in time when the Ladies did say, “Enough Is Enough.”
Was this the track that did it?
Who better else to take the stand than Ms. Karyn White. The precious, up and coming diva from back in the 80’s, who saw the light of day with a very successful debut album – which spawned numerous hits – including the slow, endearing, and emotional “Superwoman.” This classic, brought to our attention in 1988 under the guidance & perfection of L.A. Reid & Babyface, reached #1 on the Billboard R&B charts and the world was then introduced to another bona fide star in the making.
The track, once again, can be found on the debut CD. Go get it. It’s available somewhere…
The T.U.M.S. committee drops another candy delight for #70 in our Top 100 R&B Slow Jams collection. It belongs to Karyn White | Superwoman!
