Its been a long time, since 2003 in fact, that legendary funk-jazz band Tower Of Power released an offering from the studio. 6 years later comes “The Great American Soulbook” – a 12 song collection of old school soul covers from back when featuring Sam Moore, Huey Lewis, Tom Jones & Joss Stone. Amongst some of the tunes covered are “Me & Mrs Jones”, A 4 track tribute to the one & only James Brown, “It Takes Two” feat Joss Stone & many more.
