Living The Life – Rev. Patricia S. Webster

“I enjoy sharing the love of Christ and His Word every chance I get. You can read my book, “Living the Life,” in one sitting and be spiritually moved, challenged and blessed. God’s way is better than 24 karat gold!” – Reverend Patricia S. Webster

In Patricia Webster’s debut book, Living the Life, she leads us through six life models for living our utmost in holiness and blessings. She carefully begins by taking us through repentance in the chapter entitled ‘Another Chance’. From there we are woven like a needle through the remaining stages of “God’s Way Is Good”, “Blindness to Blessings”, “Rotting or Sweet”, “Thank You” and finally “Living to Live”. Each chapter challenges our comfort zones while, at the same time, motivating us to another level.

REV. PATRICIA S. WEBSTER BIO

Patricia S. Webster, was born and raised in Somerville, NJ. She was called into the ministry as a teenager and ordained to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, June 21, 1975. When her mother, Pastor Adeline Harley, in 1993 was called from “labor to reward”, Pastor Pat, who was the Assistant Pastor at that time, accepted the mantle of leadership. Pastor Pat accepted this awesome calling with humbleness.

Reverend Webster currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Shiloh Pentecostal Church, Inc., “Christian Love Center.” She installed as Pastor of Shiloh in March, 1994. She continues the pastoral lineage as she follows in the footsteps of her grandmother (the late Rev. Ruth Brown), her father (the late Rev. Denvil Harley, Sr.) and her mother (the late Rev. Adeline Harley), all who have served as Pastor of Shiloh. In March 2009, she’ll be celebrating her 15th year as Pastor of SPC.

In the past 14 years, Pastor Pat has had many accomplishments through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Habakkuk 2, God said…write the vision and make it plain upon the tables, that he may run that readeth it. God is true to His Word and Pastor Pat was given the Vision for SPC. It is her heart’s desire that every member of Shiloh lives by the Vision for the house. There is nothing more important to her than to have souls won for Christ. Praise God, souls are being added to the church daily, just as God said He would.

The Lord has given her the desire and ability to create and implement various training programs to teach His people. Pastor Pat teaches with much enthusiasm and she also challenges the people to study and know God’s Word for themselves. Under her leadership we have been blessed to have extensive training in the areas from leadership,  marriage and building relationships. Pastor Pat loves to share the training with other pastors and congregations. She always makes herself available to anyone who has a desire to learn. Under her leadership, every ministry, i.e. deacon, missionary, usher, praise and worship team, music ministry, etc. have received training in their respective areas.

Pastor Pat continues to minister in the surrounding communities through preaching the uncompromising and consistent word of God for these inconsistent times. She lectures, conducts seminars and is a consultant to many organizations and individuals. Some of her community accomplishments are: working with the Somerset County Chaplaincy Council, United Way of America, and Raritan Valley Habitat for  Humanity who is responsible for building affordable housing in the local community and she is currently active board member with the Somerville Public Library. In 2006, Pastor Pat was affirmed as a member of the Somerville Borough Council and currently serves as the President while continuing her ever popular, Saying I Do (S.I.D.) Ministries once a month in Bridgewater, NJ. Currently she is overseeing the expansion of SPC that was celebrated at their groundbreaking ceremony in August of 2006. The new facility will seat more than 300 and is the long awaited manifestation of God’s promises to her mother, father and grandmother.

She and her wonderful and supportive husband of 47 years, Pastor Jack Webster, have labored together to lay a foundation of faith as they press toward the mark of the high calling of God through Christ Jesus. From this union come five children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. They also have a wonderful son-in-love, daughter-in-love and a host of adopted children and grandchildren.

Pastor Pat is truly a woman “called for such a time as this.”
