Saxophonist Randy Scott to Release New Project “Oasis”

Randy Scott is a professional musician, record producer, educator, and composer. He signed a recording deal with Sony distributed label, Trippin’N Rhythm Records in 2011, and his latest album, “Elevation” resulted in three back-to-back Billboard #1s. As a result, Randy was named international “Breakout Artist of the Year” in December of 2020. His latest single and 4th Billboard #1, “Twilight” is currently on radio stations around the world and was #1 on the MediaBase charts for 7 weeks. It is a preview of his 8th solo album called, “Oasis”, which will be released on April 19, 2024. As a three-time winner of nationally televised, “It’s Showtime at the Apollo”, $10,000 winner of The Hennessy Jazz Search, and protégé’ of his friend and mentor, the late Grover Washington, Jr., Randy is ready to take his place among the music industry’s elite.

Randy has been awarded three Gold records, two Platinum records and one Multiplatinum record for his work on several Wow Gospel compilation albums and recordings with Grammy award winners, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond and others. Randy has his own station on Apple Music, Pandora and Amazon.com called, “The Randy Scott Channel”. He has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Michigan State University, a master’s degree from Wayne State University, and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He contributes all his accomplishments to his faith and belief in God.
