A live re-interpretation of Marquis Hill‘s 2012 lauded debut New Gospel, featuring Walter Smith III, Joel Ross, James Francies, Kendrick Scott and Harish Raghavan.

The original album established Marquis as a bright new trumpet superstar, and this live version allows him to lay back and demonstrate all his energy, talent and instrumental mastery in synthesizing the essential elements of the Africa-American creative heritage including contemporary and classic jazz, hip-hop, R&B, house and neo-soul.
