LA Diva & Singing Mogul, Michel’le, will teach girls how to build self esteem through music
As the Saving Our Cinderellas’ program is building their mentors for the acting part of the curriculum, it now has some of the iconic women singers in R&B & Hip-Hop music enlisting for the vocal component of the program to provide inspiration.

In February, Girl in Charge Public Relations graciously added their client, Michel’le to our list of talented artists supporting the program. In music, Michel’le is recognized with a high-pitched speaking voice and a beautifully aggressive singing voice. She was discovered by mentors, Eazy E and Dr Dre of whom she garnered her first big hit “Before You Turn off the Lights” with World Class Wrecking Crew. She was one of the top female recording artist of her time and the first to partner R&B Soul with the hard hitting rap of t the West Coast.

One of the stars of the popular TV One series, R&B Diva’s LA, the amazing R&B singer will step in as an inspirational mentor for girls at the Boys & Girls Club East Los Angeles who are participating in the curriculum. The vocal component of the program called “Vocal Princess” will teach young girls how to optimize their vocal abilities.

Michel’le will bring her unique singing vocals for the component of the program as well inspire the young girls who have interest in music and/or drama and experienced bullying in school.

“I am so excited about working with the girls at the Boys & Girls Club East Los Angeles. Being apart of a program that helps young people go after their dreams is something special and I feel it’s an honor and privilege to participate,” said Michel’le.

The Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles has had a rich tradition of having opportunities within the industry such as guest dancers from Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige’s dancers coming in to work with their young ladies, and acting classes taught by Gina Rodriguez, a recent Golden Globe winner.

“It will be such an honor of having Michel’le working with our vocal component of the Saving Our Cinderellas program as she has such an incredible voice which will absolutely inspire our girls at the club”~ Chief Executive Officer of Saving Our Daughters, Curtis Benjamin
