Legendary Jazz Pianist/Composer/Producer BOB JAMES is back into the music stream limelight with a special 2 disc set, “Rhodes Scholar: Jazz-Funk Classics 1974-1982” – a 22 track delight from Soul Temple Entertainment, released Sept. 17th, for ALL major jazz purists, collectors, newbies and even R&B/Rap music aficionados all over the planet. Much of his contributions from the early years in the game was indeed tapped into by many DJ’s/MC’s from the Hip Hop platform (sampled), as well as showcased his musical attribute on the powerful and not ever forgotten electro-mechanical piano, “The Fender Rhodes.”
