Sonos & Janelle Monae Partners For New Global Campaign

LISTENING IS BACK—SONOS AND JANELLE MONÁE PARTNER THIS FALL

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. (October 1, 2012) – Sonos, the leading manufacturer of wireless HiFi systems, has partnered with Wondaland Arts Society/Atlantic Records recording artist Janelle Monáe on an extraordinary global campaign, which is aimed at engaging music fans and demonstrates that listening is back. Exclusive artist video content, music tracks and weekly Sonos wireless HiFi system giveaways roll out today at Sonos.com/listeningisback.

“I love being the experience architect of the party,” says Janelle Monáe. “Working with Sonos allows me to share my true love for music.”

For the campaign, acclaimed filmmaker Sam Jones, best known for his documentary “I Am Trying To Break Your Heart,” worked with Sonos and Janelle to create a series of artist video vignettes that explore a day-in-the-life of Janelle. These exclusive Sonos-produced artist videos feature new tracks hand-picked by the Grammy-nominated artist, including Deep Cotton’s “We’re Far Enough From Heaven Now (we can freak out)” and Roman GianArthur’s

“Love Isn’t Hard (to find).” Together with Janelle, both artists are part of the Wondaland Arts Society, the Atlanta-based artist collective that champions invention, truth, love and imagination. Select tracks featured in the videos will be available as free downloads.
