Bobby Martin, best known for arranging and producing the music of the top icons in the music industry including The BEE GEES, THE OJAYS, PATTI LABELLE, THE JACKSONS, LOU RAWLS, to name a few is vetted by top industry executives to receive this prestigious honor for his outstanding contributions to the music industry. With a wall full of over 100 Platinum hits, Bobby Martin has been described as the Architect of the Philadelphia Sound, working with multiple record labels and producers including Columbia Records with Clive Davis, A&M Records with Quincy Jones, and the master architect behind the Philadelphia sound for Gamble and Huff.

As a teenager, Kenny Gamble visited Bobby Martin’s home and studio to watch him produce, arrange, and compose hit after hit. Through Bobby Martin’s mentorship in music, Kenny Gamble along with Leon Huff came together with Bobby Martin to produce THE SOUND OF PHILADELPHIA via Philadelphia International Records. American songwriter and producer, Thom Bell, came in to the label as well to bring his original hits.
