Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force

Well….well…well…The slow jam saga on T.U.M.S. continues tonight.

…and we are nothing short more than enjoying the seemlessly ‘taking our time’ mode about all of this ‘slow balladry bizness’.

Our list of Top 100 R&B Slow Jams is sparkling tonight with a look back at a classic gem of all time. A neighborhood mystical playback. A club night’s ‘last call for alcohol’ moment. A lovers’ perfect chance to chill for a minute.

A beautiful look at a beautiful songbird with a beautiful voice…..and a beautiful song – with 2 perfect gentlemen BACKED by a crew not to be reckoned with.

Back in ’85 came a brick and mortar quiet storm jam from the debut project entitled “Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force” – The same name of the entire ensemble. The 3rd single from the album, “ALL CRIED OUT” reached big status on Billboard’s R&B chart, along with a slew of others back then. Yes, this cut helped to propel the group’s monumental leap to fame, along with the dance cuts “I Wonder If I Can Take You Home” & more.

Before we go forward with our normally scheduled lick of words in introducing new tracks for this Top 100 R&B Slow Jams thang – we say this:
