The Top 100 R&B Slow Jams #34 | Boyz II Men – On Bended Knee

4 Young men from Philadelphia came together and created a massive appeal among listeners by lifting up and embracing the powerful sound of vocals as a quartet. And wrapping those tangibles of accappela harmony and gracefully penned lyrics all for the daunting task of skillfully channeling the power of the mighty slow jam to the masses. And yes, they were able to successfully pull it off.

Of the many popular hits that carved their name into the music library database and any R&B Hall of Fame that exists on this planet,  Boyz II Men’s “On Bended Knee” stuck out to us on T.U.M.S. as one of our fav’s out of all of them and we made it simple and plain to add it to our Top 100 list.

The track, “On Bended Knee” is found off their Grammy award winning, 12 million copy selling album, “II” back in 1994. The single was a hit and guess who produced it? Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. These 2 guys are becoming household names on T.U.M.S. in a jiffy huh?
