New York, NY (October 12, 2010)  –  Kultur announces the DVD release of An Evening with Tito Puente and Della Reese.  To the delight of Jazz lovers, Tito Puente and Della Reese came together in this one-time event aboard the cruise ship SS Norway in 1993 bringing their considerable virtuosity to the stage.  This entertaining and historic performance will be available for the first time on DVD on November 16, 2010 for a suggested retail price of $19.99

These two music legends took to the stage with a unique pairing of songs and styles.  “The King of Latin Music,” Tito Puente, performs with his Latin Jazz All-Stars in a set which includes “Oye Como Va”, and more. Then Della Reese, backed by a jazz trio anchored by legendary drummer Louie Bellson, thrills the crowd with her renditions of “Come Rain or Come Shine”, Billie Holiday’s “God Bless The Child” and a medley of some of Cole Porter’s contributions to the Great American Songbook, plus a guest appearance by renowned trumpeter Clark Terry.
