He dropped a heartwarming reflection of true love for R&B music on the Back In The Day blog about a very talented & overwhelmingly gifted performer who rocked the airwaves at every angle given possible in the early to late 80’s, and later on with her solo career in the 90’s: Ms. Angela Winbush.

Charles had this request on standby: “……Players of T.U.M.S., please be sure to TAKE YOUR TIME with this one. Plant your seeds and water them like Randy just did with Stevie Wonder on the Back In The Day blog. One of my seeds is gonna be one of my all time slow jamz from Angela Winbush & Rene Moore with “Your Smile.”

Rene & Angela broke it out on all the R&B/Soul listeners back in 1985 from the album, “Street Called Desire.” And guess what: It wouldn’t even matter if we gave you info about whether or not this track charted. How big the album sold. The other jams the album spawned. You should know about this ballad……easily.
