Well, what do you know: Jesse Johnson is BACK! How many of you knew that? Of course, the good news is that he not only dropped a new release of tracks, but did it by means of a 2 CD set! “Verbal Penetration” (Available Now) features some of the same R&B tinged funk he registered when he last displayed his skills during his solo career in the 90’s & playing behind big time R&B group, ‘The Time’. So it’s easy to say, expect those deep grooves with lots of meaning to stream through your stereo sets soon. That’s if you’re gonna go to sites like Amazon & others that will let you play back some song samples for you. In the meantime, we discovered this video on YouTube featuring snippets of all the songs from Disc #1. The sound quality may be off a little bit, but at least you get a taste of what’s coming!
