Nashville, TN –   Vocal Powerhouse is often used to describe the voice of Kendra
Carr who has been in the studio for the past year prepping for a new CD
project.  Kendra’s strong vocal aptitude has afforded her to work with
some of the industry’s top vocalist spanning from Shirley Caesar to
Michael McDonald and producers Tommy Sims, Asaph Ward and Roger Ryan.
Now she steps from behind the scene with her first national CD release Unexpected Judah available October 13.

Unexpected Judah,
produced by Detroit newcomer Daniel Miree, is eclectic, its inviting
and most of all its evangelistic.  “I’m just elated about Kendra,”
asserts Miree, CEO of Commandment Entertainment. “Anointing, talent,
and confidence rarely come in one package. Through this project, God is
clearly making a national platform for one Mrs. Kendra Carr!”

Unexpected Judah

was birthed from Kendra’s prayer time three years ago when God
challenged her to do something different, outside of regular worship
service. From there, songs were given in dreams and were recorded. Unexpected Judah
is an unexpected flavor of what most people may be used to hearing her
sing about. Kendra pours her soul in perfect tone into the radio single
“Only You” which is being heard across the radio airwaves now.
Kendra’s anointed voice brings healing and restoration on the stand out
tracks “Yet I Will”, in which she co-wrote with Miree, and “He’ll
Deliver”.  These songs purposely encourage that praise is the only way
through, but UNEXPECTED PRAISE not only brings you out, but it
literally puts the devil where he belongs – under your feet!

Kendra is a psalmist and minister with a sincere dedication and
unwavering faith.  “It’s not just about singing, but it’s about
ministry,” Kendra emphasizes.  “You can expect healing and deliverance
to take place when ministry goes forth!”  Kendra is ever willing and
ready to be used by God with one goal – that people are set free.  She
is currently the Overseer of Music and Worship Arts Ministry at The
Zion Church in Jackson, TN, an apostolic plant of the Mt. Zion Baptist
Church Nashville, where Jerrell T. Beard Sr. serves as Pastor.

The
public is invited to attend Kendra’s CD release concert on Friday
October 9 in Jackson, TN.  This spirit rising event will be held at 7PM
at The Zion Church, located at 259 W. Deadrick St.  This concert is
free to the public.  Call 731-427-3523 for more information.
