RCA Music Group wins a total of 3 Grammy Awards at this year’s 51st
Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held this evening in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.
Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson won the Grammy
Award for Best R&B Album for her chart topping self-titled debut
album. Jennifer debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart and
R&B/Hip Hop album charts and was the biggest first week sales for a
debut R&B female artist since 2004 at the time of its release.
RCA Records recording artist Kings of Leon took home the Grammy
award for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group with Vocals for their
track “Sex on Fire” off their latest album, Only By The Night. Kings
of Leon’s 4th album for RCA earned them their first ever Grammy
nominations and debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the
Billboard Digital Albums chart, marking the highest debut and the

track “Sex on Fire” has been # 1 at rock radio for 8 consecutive weeks
to date.
The recipient of 2 Grammy Awards last year for her hit single “No
