The USCT Humanitarian Award is given to recipients that have shown kindness and bravery, honoring African American heroes of the past and present. It is presented during three days of celebration and education events culminating with an unveiling and dedication of the bronze United States Color Troops Soldier Statue. The Fuller Story initiative works directly with local government officials to provide education and equal representation in the city of Franklin, TN.
