New Collaborative Group, “Cultivated Collective” Announces the Release of Debut Album “The Introduction” on October 31st!

NEW YORK, NY [October 21, 2025] — RNU Records has just announced the release of a new collaborative-styled gospel music group called, “Cultivated Collective”. This group of five individual chart-topping singers have come together to formulate one super group bound to make a lasting impact on the gospel music industry. Their debut album entitled, “The Introduction”, offers a variety of worship music styles sure to be the anthems in churches around the world this season. Members include Josh Copeland (Sundays Best Season 9 runner up), David Bratton (writer of “Every Praise” by Hezekiah Walker), Shontelle Norman-Beatty (#1 Billboard for “Jesus Will Fix It” / sister of the late Shea Norman), Lamont Sanders (#1 Billboard for “He Kept Me”), and Anisa Fowler (#2 Billboard for “Covered”). “The Introduction” is truly an incredible manifestation of what it looks like for artists to come together and work collaboratively rather than competitively.

The members of Cultivated Collective:

Joshua “Josh” Copeland is a powerhouse in gospel music, known for his dynamic voice and spiritual performances. A standout from BET’s Sunday Best Season 9, Josh hails from Salisbury, MD, and began singing at just nine years old. Over the years, he’s shared the stage with gospel legends like Pastor John P. Kee, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Tye Tribbett, and appeared on platforms like BET’s Joyful Noise and The Word Network.

Dave Bratton first made waves in the gospel world writing for Timothy Wright, Vickie Winans and other various gospel artists and then penned an unforgettable song for Hezekiah Walker, culminating in a Grammy Nomination. The world took note of his exceptional talent, and the accolades continued to pour in. A coveted Dove Award graced his trophy case, earned for the hit single, “Every Praise,” which resonated deeply with listeners and affirmed his status as a gospel music luminary.

Lamont Sanders is an inspirational recording artist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who celebrates his faith in God on his latest single entitled “If I Only Knew”. This record is gaining momentum, following the success of his #1 Billboard top-charting single, “He Kept Me”, a single featured on his EP He’s A Keeper. “He Kept Me” debuted at #1 on the official Billboard Gospel National radio charts, catapulting his success as a leader and trendsetter in gospel. With his rise to success, Lamont performed at the 37th Annual Stellar Awards as an emerging artist.

For Anisa Fowler, 2025 has been a breakthrough year. She was requested by a prominent Nigerian Artist, Enny Julius, to collaborate on two singles: “Thy Kingdom Come” which was released on June 19, 2025 and “Good, Good God” which is set to release before the year is out. She has since been able to release her first single from the 2022 live recording, “Nobody” on July 24, 2025. It is doing phenomenally well in the African market and being picked up on several curated and editorial streaming playlists, including BoomPlay, AudioMack, Spotify and YouTube to name a few.

The gospel songbird Shontelle Norman-Beatty launched her solo journey on DARE Records in 2020 with a new arrangement of “Jesus Will Fix It (Trouble in My Way)” a funky, Memphis-styled testament to enduring faith that gospel fans will recognize. She is also featured on the 2020 EP DARE Records Presents Countdown To Christmas, with a recording of the time-honored holiday classic “The Christmas Song.” With her heady mix of sass and class, sugar and spice, Shontelle is a welcome addition to the family of Gospel music stars.

“The Introduction” will be available on all digital streaming platforms this Friday, October 31st.
