Saxophonist Dean James Releases New Single And It’s Well Worth The Wait!

‘KINGS & QUEENS’ features a great hook underneath a steady groove. Dean James’ signature fiery alto sax trading melodies back and forth with Joel Del Rosario’s guitar, lifts the listener up then setting them back down to earth with a beautifully haunting melody. Written & produced by Del Rosario with Dean’s sax artistry at the forefront, ‘Kings & Queens’ gives as much as it takes and leaves us all wanting a little bit more!

‘Kings & Queens’ was originally recorded in Sacramento, CA by Grammy Award winning engineer Archie Joseph I. The idea of the song came to fruition when Dean & Joel performed together at the Stockton Jazz Festival in 2024.
