JAY MURRAYS’ NEW SINGLE “HAVE YOUR WAY” IS AVAILABLE NOW ON ALL DIGITAL OUTLETS

Jay Murray defies being pigeonholed and celebrates the fact that gospel music promotes peace, joy, love, and hope in a variety of styles. On his single “Have Your Way” produced by Bernard Carter, you will hear those messages being promoted in a fresh and powerful way.

Growing up in Detroit, Mi, Jay Murray was musical at a young age singing at just two years old. His musical journey started at his previous local home church where his father served as Music Pastor. It was there he began to lead praise and worship at ten years old, direct the choir at seventeen years old, as he began to develop his gifting to a new level. Jay attends Greater Emmanuel Institutional COGIC in Detroit, Michigan under the leadership of Bishop J. Drew Sheard and Evg. Karen Clark-Sheard where he serves as praise and worship leader and choir member. He has had the opportunity to sing behind gospel greats such as Chrystal Rucker, The Clark Sisters and many more.

Released independently, Have Your Way is gaining momentum and Jay is excited about what the future holds. Jay adds, “The song is inspired by my prayers and conversations with God while sick with COVID-19 in March of 2020”. The single is available now and planning has already begun for his EP project.
