Gospel Duo Jessica & Jaida Releases New Single “Whatcha’ Say, Whatcha’ Say” | LISTEN!

Singing Sisters From Detroit Plan To Take Gospel Industry By Storm.
DETROIT, MI – Gospel singers and sisters, Jessica and Jaida recently unveiled their new single, Whatcha’ Say, Whatcha’ Say on all live streaming platforms. The song opens with harmonic melodies, upbeat string instrumentation and is a clear departure from what can be heard in current gospel offerings. Written by the artists themselves and produced by Cordell Walton of 12 Noon Productions who has worked with other acclaimed artists like Tasha Page-Lockhart, Charlie Wilson, Deitrick Haddon and many others. Cordell partnered with Jessica and Jaida to develop a signature sound that showcased their pop-fused vocals with heartfelt lyrics for their first single. “We hope to create a youthful sound that reaches a wide range of people. When people listen to our music we want to make them happy and encourage them to move into a closer relationship with God,” says Jaida.
Although this is Jessica and Jaida’s first music release, they are not new to entertainment circles. Both have used their acting and vocal talent in various national theatrical productions. In 2020, they opened for Detroit’s Music Weekend and performed at a charity event hosted by Grammy-nominated and fellow Detroit native Big Sean. They have also appeared in media campaigns for national brands such as Ally Financial, Dow Chemical and PBS Kids.
Whatcha’ Say, Whatcha’ Say has become very popular with national radio and was recently picked up and added to playlists. In addition to penning inspiring lyrics, their seamless blend and creative arrangements have made them a fan favorite among listeners. “This song represents standing strong in your faith no matter what anyone says, and giving God praise because of what He has brought you through. It is very personal to me because it in includes my testimony,” says Jessica. Whatcha’ Say, Whatcha’ Say is the first single from their soon-to-be released full EP. The video for their new single will debut soon on YouTube, Music Choice and other music video platforms.
In addition to artistic talent Jessica and Jaida are aspiring entrepreneurs, and this summer will launch a line of inspirational clothing and artwork under their brand, Greater Luv®. The sisters will announce some new partnerships with national brands and initiatives in the coming weeks as a part of the promotional rollout for Whatcha’ Say, Whatcha’ Say.
