CJF founder and President, Edythe Bronston, had previously announced that guitarist Kenny Burrell is the recipient of the 2017 Nica Lifetime Achievement Award and the late Gerald Wilson, trumpeter, composer, arranger and bandleader, is the recipient of the CJF Heritage Award.
