NEW YORK, NY, January 18, 2016 – Eryn Allen Kane, the fast-rising, Prince and Spike Lee-championed songstress is pleased to unveil “How Many Times”, the lead single from her upcoming new EP Aviary: Act II, that will be released on February 2nd. Her most fiery track to date, “How Many Times” sees Eryn deliver a show stopping vocal performance over a crescendo of arpeggiated piano, gospel backing vocals and a tumbling rhythm section:

In November 2015, the budding superstar released her eagerly anticipated official solo debut, Aviary: Act I. The stunning 4-track effort featured both of Eryn’s breakout singles “Have Mercy” and “Slipping”, as well as new fan favorite “Piano Song” – which is currently trending on Spotify’s US Viral 50 and Global Viral 50 charts – and one previously unreleased cut, “Bass Song”.
The Detroit-raised, Chicago-based songstress became an instant favorite among key tastemakers upon the April 2015 premiere of her debut single “Have Mercy”, garnering acclaim from NPR Music, Complex, Revolt TV, The Fader, Essence, Vibe, and numerous others. Shortly thereafter, the escalating buzz caught the ear of multi-platinum music icon Prince, who invited Kane to his Paisley Park studio where they collaborated on his protest song “Baltimore”, in memory of Freddie Gray’s death at the hands of Baltimore police. Also an actress, Eryn was handpicked by Spike Lee for a role in his controversial film Chi-Raq and is featured on the soundtrack.
