Independent Soul Artist OYA Premieres New Music Video, “LOVE”
INDEPENDENT ARTIST OYA PREMIERES MUSIC VIDEO FOR DEBUT SINGLE “LOVE”
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Independent artist, Oya, has released her brand new music video for “LOVE”, the first single from her debut album “SPIRIT OF OYA”, a fusion project of R&B/Soul, Jazz, Funk, Pop and Gospel. “LOVE” is an up tempo thankful salute to the tales of life swaddled by the blessings of love and a heartfelt tribute to the divine beauty of the world.
“LOVE” was shot on the New York Street set of The Studios at Paramount, the longest operating major studio remaining in Hollywood. The studio’s backlot was also used for six-time Grammy Award winning super group, The Black Eyed Peas, “Rock That Body” music video. As well as the popular FORD automobile commercials featuring the finalists of the hit show, American Idol.
“LOVE”, is an impressive one-take, single camera music video that was complete without edits. “LOVE” follows Oya in continuous time in an intimate neighborhood, yet riddled with moving people, to whom Oya spreads her love, energy and light. The song is very personal and honest and reflects Oya’s journey as an inspiration to others. It’s very heartfelt and the surface story is simple, to be thankful for all expressive forms of love in the world. Her message behind the song is to spread love, inspiration and joy while raising the vibration and connection of people.
The imagery of that connection was produced by Frances S. DeLoach and captured by Director, Derrick D. Pete. The vivid clarity of human joy was captured by Director of Photography, Daniel Pearl, who has worked with legendary artists, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z and Kanye West. Gustavo Penna, worked his magic as Steadicam Operator, who also worked on Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and Pink’s “Try” music videos.
