(Minneapolis June 2011) On July 15th Pete and Kim Rhodes will bring back the MN Black Music Awards. The ceremony takes place at 8:00PM at the Pantages Theatre. Last year the sold out event returned after a short hiatus with a bang. The ceremony turned downtown Minneapolis into a Hollywood red carpet extravaganza. The event was filled with celebrities and stellar performances and has become a tradition to the Twin Cities. This year the MBMA will do more than just pay tribute to twin city musicians and community leaders, it will benefit the North side relief efforts. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support survivors. To continue, please click “MORE”!
